Ways to Dress Up Your Noodles

Screen Shot 2016-11-30 at 3.44.27 PMInstant noodles are great because you can always add fresh ingredients to give the noodles a fuller flavor. The August Umai Cratereceived one of two noodle bowls that both had a rich and hearty broth. By simply adding a few more ingredients, you can transform a simple noodle into a full Japanese experience!

Empty the soup packet and chili pepper into the bowl and add hot water to the line. Close the lid and let the noodles sit for 3 minutes. Once the noodles are ready, remove the lid, and stir the noodles.

Here’s the fun part!

You could also add an egg, sliced carrots, shiitake mushrooms, and spinach to make a heartier meal! For those who love spicy dishes, you can always add more chili flakes or slices of jalapenos.
