September/October 2018 Shipping Update

***Please disregard this message if you have already received your crate***

Konnichiwa Japan Crate family,

As you may have heard, Japan experienced many strong typhoons up through early October. These storms affected most of Japan’s transportation & postal service.

Our shipping warehouse, which is located in Osaka, is in one of the areas that was hit hardest by the typhoons. In fact, the airport where crates are normally shipped from closed after the storm pushed a cargo ship into it (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞. In response, we have had to reroute all crates to the airport in Tokyo for faster shipping; however, we’ve just been informed that the Tokyo port has been backed-up due to all the reroutes from affected areas. We ask that you allow an additional 2 weeks for your crate to deliver while JP Post clears their backlog and gets everything back on track. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and appreciate your patience and understanding.

Thanks for being part of the Japan Crate family
